Concepts & Hypotheses

A working space for concepts that are not yet established evidence, clinical guidance or final conclusions. Ideas are documented early, tested against available evidence, refined and developed into stronger scientific articles.

The goal is to separate developing concepts from established evidence, make the reasoning visible and strengthen each hypothesis before formal publication.

What belongs here

Separate ideas from established evidence.

Research hypothesisA testable scientific idea

A proposed mechanism, relationship or intervention that needs evidence, clinical input and prospective testing.

Clinical questionA problem worth defining better

Questions about patient selection, timing, endpoints, diagnostics or unmet clinical windows.

Protocol conceptA possible pathway to investigate

Early protocol logic that must be built with clinicians before it can become a clinical study.

Pre-publication articleA draft before journal submission

A structured viewpoint or manuscript developed before formal submission and peer review.

Pre-publication is not peer review. It is a development stage intended to expose assumptions, missing evidence and weak logic before formal journal submission.

Are we identifying the oxygen-delivery problem early enough?

Prehospital blood-transfusion criteria largely use hemodynamic signals. Should a future oxygen-delivery protocol investigate earlier tissue-perfusion and oxygenation signals when defining the patient and treatment window?

Scope

A platform for concepts across multiple applications.

Concepts & Hypotheses can hold future research concepts across prehospital EMS, postpartum hemorrhage, tissue oxygenation, oxygen-delivery metrics, sepsis, transplantation, veterinary medicine, One Health, biodiversity protection, terminology, regulatory strategy and other BHOC/HBOC research directions.

When a concept matures, it can remain here as a transparent development record while the resulting article, manuscript or evidence page is published in its appropriate final section.
